When we began t-ball I didn't realize that most kids have their own bat and some even have a bat bag already!! Poor Scott. At the first practice the coach asked him which was his bat when it came time to hit and he just stood there, probably embarrassed.
Scott and I finally mustered up some courage and brought Eric's old t-ball bat to the last game. Being 25 years old it's heavier and I didn't know if it met whatever regulations they had nowadays.
Here it is in all it's glory. Coach referred to it as vintage. Are we that old to have something that's vintage?!

I've also learned that in 3-5 year old baseball there is only one position--1st base.
Scott had the privilege of playing first in our last game. That's a pretty big deal considering there are only 2 innings and 13 kids on the team!
The WomBAT rides again. They dont make them like they used to.
